I think in the eyes of the judicial court system she is. Just like many so called guilty people are later found innocent in the same system. Maybe it's because we all didn't like the verdict that we think she is guilty beyond reason. I don't honestly think that though I think the court missed a few things and in the end technicalities got her off prison. In my opinion however she is guilty. She tells story after story and I simply can't buy into and the bit about her father testifying that he help hide or something with Caylee's body is just disturbing and really showed how desperate they were getting. Be it innocent or not she's a terrible mother for having not called in her missing daughter. I honestly don't like judging people on their parenting but going as far more than 24 hours and not notifying police will always strike me as odd and to many guilty.
If she's innocent and the law doesn't restrict then yes. I doubt she would have her way though. I can imagine even if she did want to adopt a child(which I don't believe) that the news coverage and her known infamy would be her downfall. I can't see how that would go smoothly with hiding her identity from those who want her dead. I don't think she should be able to adopt a child at all I would go as far as to say to be banned from any area which houses children. Besides seeing from her latest video diary I highly doubt she wants or cares about having another child. She is a horrible person and doesn't care about her past let alone any child in need of a parent. |

^exactly. Heck I start worrying if my nieces and nephews go outside and get too quiet and are out of my sight if it's past ten minutes. I could not even imagine a parent, an attentive parent; going days or even an hour of not seeing or knowing where their child is without reporting him/her/them missing. This woman waited days. That screams guilt, even if she didn't kill the child(which I believe she did kill the poor little girl) she played a hand in it by not calling the police asap. |

My question is: why should we even care? Even a little? We have bigger things to focus on. Why does the death or disappearance of some single random child turn our heads more than real issues? The amount of time and energy put into the whole case by people could have made a significant difference in something that actually mattered. I don't know anything about the case, I refuse to pollute my mind with the information. Just my opinion of course, not trying to be harsh or insulting to anyone. I apologize if I come off that way. I just don't understand it. Edited by Sam, Aug 4 2012, 08:03 AM.

I would fully agree with you. If we weren't posting from a Dragonball Z forum. |

I can't speak on the behalf of anyone but myself but I care. I care because a little girl getting killed(in my opinion) is something I take some consideration into. Yes, it may not change my life whether or not Casey was guilty or not but at the very least it would provide evidence that the justice system is working just fine. Do you think this case mattered? I don't think you should be worrying yourself over why people cared about the death of a little girl. I doubt it mattered in the end...it's like it's bringing her back right? |

Whilst I care little about the death itself, what has got me interested is the circumstances surrounding the death. If a shadow of a doubt remains, the case should continue. Finding the truth is vital; its the whole point of the law, and considering we may have been deceived, its rather troublesome. |

Different. We come here to socialize and to participate in discussion of a topic we enjoy. We are not coming here to actively devote extreme amounts of time and energy to something, as well as dragging millions of people along with us to do it. We're not burning through precious resources and sacrificing everything for one cute little white girl. |
